The Alethena rating methodology entails 4 dimensions, broken down into 17 clusters and more than 70 factors, ranging from legal to smart contract security.
The fundament is a factor-based scorecard with values between 1 and 10 where seventeen different clusters are being evaluated. For this assessment, a total of more than seventy factors is currently being considered. The clusters are then consolidated into four different dimensions (Technical, Business, Governance, and Legal) and one final rating score.
The number of factors being assessed is subject to change over time with new releases as the methodology must allow adoption to market developments and new insights.
